Zoo Med Avian Sun Deluxe Floor Lamp has a weighted base for stability and is fully adjustable! The Zoo Med Floor Lamp does not come with a bulb. Bulb is sold separately!

Polarized: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plugin anyway.

Note on Lamp Burn-In: Compact fluorescent lamps have a "burn-in" period when the light and UVB output is at its greatest. For your AvianSun 5.0 Compact Fluorescent Lamp, this period lasts about two weeks when the lamp is used to provide a normal photoperiod or day/night cycle at 10 to 12 hours per day (150 hours of use). Refer to the following chart for recommended distances during and after the burn period. Zoo Meds AvianSun Deluxe Floor Lamp is fully adjustable enabling you to easily adjust the distance of the lamp to your birds cage.

Notes on Operating Range:
The Recommended Distance refers to the distance from the lamp to your birds perch. The lamp should be placed directly overhead of your bird. DO NOT place the lamp on the side of the cage causing your bird to stare into the lamp. WARNING: DO NOT place the lamp closer to your bird than the recommended distances listed above as eye damage may occur.
When to Replace Your Lamp:
Your lamp will provide beneficial UVA and UVB for a period of 12 months. After 12 months, the lamp should be replaced with a new AvianSun 5.0 Compact Fluorescent Lamp. Before you turn on your lamp for the first time, date the base of the lamp to remind yourself when to replace it

Fur Babies Plus is committed to deliver the product in perfect condition at the address indicated by the customer in the checkout page. In order to optimize delivery, we thank the customer for indicating an address in which the order can be delivered within normal business hours.
Please note that Fur Babies Plus reserves the right to restrict orders to certain areas including certain areas of Canada or non-continental United States territories (including Alaska, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico).
Fur Babies Plus also reserves the right to restrict orders to PO Boxes and military bases. However, we are constantly evaluating and expanding our shipping zones, so these restrictions may change in the future.
In the event that we are unable to ship and deliver to any area, the full value of the order will be refunded to the customer.

Fur Babies Plus may on occasion and as a result of special offers, promotions and special days, offer free shipping on some or all products. Free shipping will be applied to the order at checkout.
Order processing will take place Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5.00 PM (Orders are not processed on weekends and major holidays). Please keep in mind that may be extended during holidays, launches, restocks, limited edition releases and promotions.

All orders are processed and delivered during business days (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
Orders must be placed by 12:00 p.m. (noon) Eastern Time (ET) to be processed the same business day. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.
It is important to note that, should our shipping zones be expanded in the future to include special addresses, military installations, PO Boxes and other countries, these orders may be subject to delivery times that exceed our usual standards.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number of your order to be tracked through the corresponding courier company. Be sure to track your order using the tracking number we provide. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If your package has been lost or stolen, please contact the appropriate courier company according to the tracking number provided or contact us through our contact information for further assistance and information.
Please note that for international orders (orders outside the United States), customs duties may apply depending on the customs laws of each country. The customer is responsible for payment of any customs duties that may be imposed on your package upon entry into the destination country. Please check the customs situation in your country regarding the importation of goods and the collection of customs duties before placing an order, as Fur Babies Plus cannot provide you with this information. Fur Babies Plus is not responsible for the payment of any customs duties that may apply to your international orders, nor is Fur Babies Plus responsible for packages returned or undelivered due to non-payment of such duties. Payment of any duties that may apply to your order is the sole and exclusive responsibility of the customer.
Fur Babies Plus is not responsible for delays in shipping or delivery, due to natural or uncontrollable events. Furthermore, Fur Babies Plus is not responsible for delays related to the courier service itself. Unfortunately, we have no control over these delays. Transit time does not include Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.
If at the time of delivery, the customer is not at the delivery address or if it is not possible to deliver the package to any person in charge, the product must be returned and extra charges may apply for shipping costs.
Fur Babies Plus will not be responsible or reimburse for lost or undelivered packages due to incorrect, inaccurate or outdated delivery addresses. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery address they provide during the checkout process is current, correct and accurate. Before completing the checkout process, please ensure that you provide a correct, current and accurate delivery address.
If your order is not delivered due to incorrect, inaccurate or outdated delivery addresses and the order is returned to our premises, we reserve the right to charge you for additional delivery charges or to terminate this contract and issue a refund with the discounted value of the delivery.
Fur Babies Plus recommends customers provide a secure delivery address, for example your home or place of employment. Fur Babies Plus is not responsible for packages lost or stolen due to unsafe delivery addresses.
Each delivery is considered to have been made from the moment Fur Babies Plus makes the product available to the customer, which is made possible by the control system used by the courier company when the status of the order changes to “completed” or “delivered".
